Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena swimming and diving team dropped their annual Senior Day meet this afternoon 165-129 to visiting Saint Francis (Pa.) at the Siena Swim Center. Prior to the meet, the Saints honored graduating seniors Jessica Cummings, Megan Dobbins, Jacylyn Giunta and Kaedy Graves in pre-meet festivities. The loss marked just the second this season at the Siena Swim Center for the Saints (9-4) as they finish the regular season 5-2 at home.

"All four (seniors) will be greatly missed," reflected Head Coach Greg Brown. "I really thought that the entire team fought hard for them today."

In what was a closely contested meet, Saint Francis (9-7) edged the Saints winning eight of the 15 events.

The Green and Gold were led again by reigning MAAC Swimmer of the Week Brittany Pavolko. The freshman won all three of her individual events on the afternoon, pacing the pool in the 100 fly (1:00.13), the 200 fly (2:14.19) and 200 IM (2:14.79).

Junior diver Jacky Busching had an equally impressive performance, capturing first place scores in both the 1-meter (181.35) and 3-meter (194.55) dives. The Red Flash were led by Blair Kosela who won two individual events (50 and 100 free) and one relay event in the 400 medley relay.

Following the conclusion of the regular season, the Saints will now gear up for the three day MAAC Championships set to begin on February 14th in Baltimore hosted by Loyola College.

"We're right where we want to be," noted Brown. "We've been working hard and we're going to be ready when we go to Loyola to swim fast."
