Youngstown State Invitational Round One Results

WARREN, OHIO - The Siena Saints women's golf team currently sits in second place following the first round of the Youngstown State/Taco Bell Invitational at Old Avalon Golf Course in Warren, Ohio, Monday. Individually, seniors Megan Angis (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) and Laura Woolgar (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) finished the day shooting a four-over-par 76, placing them tied for third.

Finishing the opening day of competition in first place is Bowling Green State University, scoring a 313. Rounding out the top five teams is the University of Detroit Mercy in third place, Youngstown State in fourth place, followed by Cleveland State University in fifth.

Freshman standout Bridget Carr currently sits tied for 12th after shooting a nine-over-par 81. Rounding out the remaining Siena golfers are juniors Melissa Agostinelli (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas) and Bridget Erwin (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) who both placed tied for 19th place after posting an 11-over-par 83.

The second and final round of the Youngstown State/Taco Bell Invitational will resume Tuesday morning with a tee time of 10:30 a.m.
