Final Stats

The Siena men's tennis team dropped a tough 6-0 decision to rival Niagara Sunday at the Tri City Raquette Club in Latham. The Saints were competitive in several of the six matches, but ultimately fell short.

Walter Garcia rallied past Jeremy Deuel at top singles, 3-6, 6-2 and 6-3. Alex Abji had a hard fought 6-3 and 6-4 win at #2 singles and Roman Silan held off Stefan Putyera 7-5 and 6-4 at #3 singles.

Jose Loren dropped a hard fought 3-6, 6-3 and 10-7 decision at #6 singles.

The match was moved indoors due to rain and the doubles competition was not completed.

The Saints close out regular-season play at home against Colgate at 3:30 p.m. Loren will be honored in a special pre-match senior ceremony.
