Men's Tennis Evens Record with 5-2 win Over Saint Peter's :: Saints Move to 5-5 Overall, 2-2 in MAAC Play with League Home Win

Siena won four of six singles competitions and swept doubles play to post a 5-2 MAAC victory over visiting Saint Peter's at the Tri City Racquet Club. With the win, the Siena men even their overall record at 5-5 and move to 2-1 in MAAC play.

Jeremy Duell and Nick Rutherford posted impressive 6-2 and 6-1 wins at first and second singles respectively for the Saints. Kevin Gioia and Mike Aliotta won at fourth and sixth singles to clinch the win. Saint Peter's two single wins came in three sets. Nestor Gramatica defeated Stefan Putyera at third singles and Jake Baranowski topped Chris Auffredou at fifth singles.
