2008 Old Spice Classic Tournament Bracket

Siena and Tennessee will meet in the first game of the 2008 Old Spice Classic Thanksgiving Day at noon inside the Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The game will air on ESPN2.

Tennessee finished the 2007-2008 season with a 31-5 record. They advanced to the Sweet 16 in last year's NCAA Tournament posting wins over American and Butler (OT) before falling to Louisville. Tennessee ranked seventh in the final ESPN/USA Today poll and was ranked first in the February 25 ESPN/USA Today and AP polls following its win over state rival Memphis.

The Vols lost three starters from last year's team, including standout senior guard Chris Lofton.

Leading rebounder Tyler Smith (6.7), a junior, is the only double figure scorer returning (13.6).

It will be the first meeting between the two schools. Siena played two schools from the Volunteer State last season, losing at Memphis and defeating Vanderbilt in the NCAA Tournament. Wichita State will meet Georgetown in the second game of the Tournament with the winners and losers meeting Friday.

Seven of the eight teams qualified for postseason play in 2007-08, including five in the NCAA Tournament and two in the Sweet 16. Michigan State and Tennessee advanced to the Sweet 16, Siena and Georgetown advanced to the second round and Gonzaga also made the NCAA Tournament. Maryland and Oklahoma State played in the National Invitational Tournament (NIT).
